A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Katherine is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a degree in biology. Her transformation to Razorback devotee was assisted by her participation in several campus organizations.
In 2010, Katherine attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia where she obtained a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. An early interest in dermatology was reinforced by dermatologic procedures and treatments that she participated in during her graduate school rotations in both Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. Katherine acquired a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acne and psoriasis, further solidifying her passion for dermatology.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is also involved with the recently established Physician Assistant program at UAMS and serves as a member of their Advisory Board.
Katherine has been with Arkansas Dermatology for 5 years and it has become a like a second family to her. She has a wonderful patient basis which continues to grow. She is proud to be able to treat so many patients from all over Central Arkansas. She has a passion for treating contact dermatitis and offers patch testing to patients as an advanced diagnostic method at our Conway location.
Katherine and her husband Joe married in August 2017 and are happy to call Little Rock her permanent home. They enjoy traveling, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and keeping busy with their 3 dogs; Gus, Addie and Boo.
